The Singapore Police Service Good Service Medal is awarded to an officer in recognition of his good, efficient and faithful service in the Singapore Police Service. An officer may receive the Medal if he has at least 5 years of qualifying service in the Singapore Police Service.
The Singapore Police Service Long Service and Good Conduct Medal is awarded to officers in recognition of his long and exemplary service and good conduct in the Singapore Police Force. An officer may receive the Medal if he has completed 10 years of continuous qualifying service.
A 1st Clasp to the Medal is awarded to an officer on completing 15 years of qualifying service in recognition of his long and exemplary service and good conduct in the Singapore Police Force.
A 2nd Clasp to the Medal is awarded to an officer on completing 20 years of qualifying service in recognition of his long and exemplary service and good conduct in the Singapore Police Force.
The Singapore Police Service Long Service and Good Conduct Medal (30 Years) is awarded to officers in recognition of his long and exemplary service and good conduct in the Singapore Police Force. An officer may receive the Medal if he has completed 30 years of continuous qualifying service.
The Singapore Police Service Overseas Service Medal is awarded to an officer who has rendered a service in an area outside Singapore. The service may be operations involving threat to life or limb, or operations involving the keeping of peace, restoring of law and order, provision of humanitarian air or rescue.
The Medal of Valour is awarded to any Police officer who has performed an act or a series of acts displaying personal courage or constituting distinguished and gallant conduct in circumstances dangerous to himself or other persons.

Medal Description: The Medal consist of an 8-armed star shape medal in 925 sterling silver and measures 42 mm in diameter and 3 mm in thickness. The obverse side of the Medal bears the Singapore Coat-of-Arms. The reverse side of the Medal bears the Singapore Civil Defence Crest within a laurel wreath and with a scroll underneath the laurel wreath. The Crest on the reverse side of the Medal is encircled by the inscription, ”LONG SERVICE AND GOOD CONDUCT”
Eligibility : The Medal is awarded to any SCDF officer in recognition of his long and exemplary service and good conduct for a continuous period of 12 years. A Clasp is awarded to a recipient of the Medal on his completion of 20 years of qualifying service and a second Clasp on his completion of 30 years of qualifying service.

Medal Description: The Medal consist of a triangle upon a circular medal in 925 sterling silver. The circular medal measures 34 mm in diameter and 3 mm in thickness. The triangle on the circular medal measures 36 mm in diameter. The obverse side of the Medal bears the Singapore Coat-of-Arms encircled by the inscription” CIVIL DEFENCE FORCE” above the Coat-of-Arms and “ SINGAPORE” beneath the Coat-of-Arms. The reverse side of the Medal bears a map of Southeast Asia and Australia with the inscription” OVERSEAS SERVICE”.
Eligibility: The Medal is awarded to member of the SCDF in recognition of the service which was rendered outside Singapore. For the first overseas missoion, the officer will be presented with the Medal. For subsequent missions, he will be presented with one laureated bar for each overseas mission, with the country and the year of the mission served inscribed on it.

Awarded to any person who, whilst being a member of the SAF, engaged in service outside Singapore after August 9, 1970. Different medal ribbons were used to differentiate between operational and non-operational service. This medal was amended and redesigned in 1998 and may be awarded for service outside Singapore with no distinction between operational and non-operational service.

Awarded to any member or volunteer of the SAF who has engaged or participated in or provided direct support to the Tsunami Relief Operation between 25 December 2004 and 25 February 2005 (both dates inclusive)

The medal may be awarded to any member of the Singapore Armed Forces for exceptionally distinguished service or extraordinary merit in military command or staff work. In special circumstances, the medal may be awarded to any person for outstanding service in the promotion of good relations between the Singapore Armed Forces and the military forces of his/her country. Nominations for the award may be submitted to the Armed Forced Council, which shall process them and make recommendations to the Cabinet for approval.
